These are rather common recently with newer canisters.
I’ve lost one — can’t find these anywhere.
An internet search leads me to either canning grommets or industrial grommets/gaskets — ugly grey.
Anyone see these anywhere ?

Where can I find plastic seals for the lids to my kitchen canister set?
I have a set of Pfalzgraff kitchen canisters that don’t have airtight seals. Looking for the plastic seals to apply to them to make them airtight.

Why do tennis balls come in a vacuum sealed canister?
[Answer]:The canister is actually pressurized, to balance the pressure inside the tennis balls and prevent them from going flat. The pressure inside the balls is 12 psi over the normal air pressure (for comparison, the pressure in a car tire might be something like 32 psi). The rubber shell of a tennis ball isn’t enough by itself to keep the ball bouncing high, so the pressurized air inside the ball makes it springier. Even though the rubber shell may seem impermeable to air, it slowly lets the air through until the pressure inside the ball equals the air pressure around it. The pressurized can prevents this from happening until it’s opened.
Do u think snacks will stay fresh longer in a canister or in a tightly sealed original package? Why?

What can I use a small glass canister set for?
It is a wooden holder with two small glass canisters in it. The opening for them is about 2” and they are see-through. The lids don’t have seals so I don’t really want to use them for food. But I don’t really know what to use them for.
They tilt toward you a bit; they don’t stand upright so they wouldn’t really be good for flowers. :/
[Answer]:Depends on you… I would prob use them at my sewing desk to hold buttons and zippers and such. It’s really great if they have the loop to hold the scooper- you can slip your scissors in there!
And I know my FI would love them to hold nails, nuts and bolts in his work shop!!
Just think of something that you need to organize better or sort- and but them to use there. I also like the bathroom idea above!
